Project area located in towns of Schoharie and Wright, Schoharie County, New York. Stage 1A and Stage 1B Archaeological Survey. Survey methods: file search, literature and document search, surface inspection, shovel test pits. No prehistoric or historic sites identified. SUBi sites mentioned: Van Gasbeck I, SUBi 1291; Van Heusen I, SUBi 1292; Saddlemire III, SUBi 1308. Artifacts: one fragment of bone. Recommendations: Stage 1B Archaeological Survey for Stovepipe Road Site, Dunston's Junk Car Site, and Route 156/157 Intersection Site. Otherwise project will not adversely affect any significant cultural resources. This report includes sixteen maps, all seven photographs missing.
